Ìý Wet Nurses Thursday 2 October 2003 Ìý
Would you be prepared to suckle someone else's baby?

There are probably lots more women sharing breastfeeding than we know, but attitudes to shared nursing range from total acceptance to complete outrage.
Some argue it's a logical and practical extension of the resurgence of breastfeeding, we'll be discussing whether wet nursing could be making a modern day comeback?
Jessica Wintripp talks about her experience as a cross nurser, while Gabrielle Palmer; author of Politics of Breastfeeding and Phoebe Tait from the La Leche League, join Jenni for the discussion.
