Ìý What To Tell The Children Tuesday 20 August 2002 Ìý
For the last two weeks just one story has dominated the news, the disappearance of the two Cambridgeshire schoolgirls, Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

The fate of the two ten year olds has touched people across the country. In Soham, the girls home town, counsellors are available and children as young as ten have called the helpline. Across the country books of condolence have been placed in churches and civic buildings.
The tragedy has unfolded during the long summer holidays and it has been impossible to shield children from the details in the media. So what should parents tell them when they start asking questions about what has happened and why.
Child psychologist Jennie Linden and journalist Mary Riddell join Sheila to discuss.
