Cage Fighter

When you've got a PhD and a first-class maths degree from Cambridge under your belt the most obvious career choice might not be cage fighting - the flamboyant mixture of martial arts that's grown rapidly since its birth in the nineties. However Manchester's Rosi Sexton prides herself on not doing the obvious, and as a result has become one of the world's very best women cage fighters. So how do the baying crowds on fight night compare with the hushed chambers of academia? Geoff Bird went along to meet Rosi at the Straight Blast Gym in central Manchester to find out.
