Jane Wakefield reports from the TEDGlobal conference in Arusha in Tanzania, Among those offering solutions is Sara Menker, founder and chief executive of Gro Intelligence, an agricultural data technology company, who says that by 2027 the world could face a 214 trillion calorie deficit. And Kenyan farmer and tech entrepreneur Su Kahumbu Stephanou, who explains how her iCow app has revolutionised the way farmers can track their yield and livestock.
