'Historical secrets' unearthed at Worcestershire village
Discover how rare Saxon, Roman and Neolithic artefacts have been uncovered in Broadway, in an excavation at the Milestone Ground, which is set to become new housing and a sports complex.
Thousands of archaeological treasures have been found, showing human life as far back as the Mesolithic Era, up to 8,500 years ago, when humans regularly moved for hunting and gathering.
The site was first uncovered 20 years ago, during a walk by local schoolchildren. Now experts are calling these finds 'remarkable'.
