After silvers in Rio and Tokyo, it’s finally gold for the Droitwich 24-year-old.

After silvers in Rio and Tokyo, it’s finally gold for the Droitwich 24-year-old, who’s officially making her family cry tears of joy.
Becky’s four-year-old son Patrick was watching in the stands with her mother Katherine, and said that she could see him blowing kisses at her, whilst she was on the podium! Dad Steve is also so proud at what their daughter has achieved. The Paralympic 100m SB13 Breaststroke champion tells Tammy Gooding and Robin Grey how she’s proud to be a role model to others, including the 20th Worcester Scout Group. Rebecca Redfern trains with her brother, Matt, at Worcester Swimming Club, and has also been part of the ParalympicsGB team. Image credit: Getty Images/Adam Pretty.
