Who is the real Lucy Letby?

After following the trial of Lucy Letby for months, the ±«Óãtv’s Judith Moritz and Jonathan Coffey discuss her character and possible motives.

The ±«Óãtv's North of England correspondent, Judith Moritz, has been following the case of Lucy Letby since 2017, when the police first started investigating baby deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Judith was one of the few journalists permitted to follow the nine-month trial from inside Manchester Crown Court.

After deliberating for 110 hours, the jury found Lucy Letby guilty of murdering seven babies and of attempting to murder six others. The jury was undecided on six other attempted murder charges and Letby was found not guilty of two counts of attempted murder.

For this 5 Minutes On podcast, Judith Moritz and ±«Óãtv Panorama's Jonathan Coffey discuss how Lucy Letby defended herself during the trial and how very little was heard about her character, or what her motives could have been.
