Rishi Sunak announces pay rises for millions - but will this be enough to end the biggest strike action by public sector workers in decades?

Millions of public sector workers are being given pay rises of between five and seven per cent, after the government accepted the recommendations of independent review bodies. Rishi Sunak said the increases would be paid for partially by a rise in visa fees and higher charges for migrants to use the NHS. The rest would be met within departmental budgets. And this - he said - was the government's final offer. So will it be enough to bring an end to strike action?
