Black Sheep CEO explains why they called in administrators

The chief executive of the brewery explains how Covid and rising costs have created a 'perfect storm' for the business.

Yorkshire-based Black Sheep Brewery, which operates five pubs across the region, has called in administrators after failing to attract new investment.

The company, which employs around 50 people, says it's been hit by the rising cost of ingredients and energy, as well as the effects of the pandemic but is confident it can survive.

Its chief executive Charlene Lyons spoke to Sean Farrington.
