Dementia - a cognitive disease affecting more than 55 million people worldwide

Misconceptions about the disease has some people believing it is connected to witchcraft. Elderly men and women have been bullied, ostracised, beaten, stoned, burned and even killed because of witchcraft accusations. How then can society begin to change this cruelty on the elderly? The ±«Óătv’s Millicent Akeyo travelled to rural Zambia to get some answers.
