Culture, traditional practices a hinderance to equal rights on land ownership
By law, women in the Gambia are allowed to own land, however, culture and traditional practices have for many years been a big hinderance to equal rights on land ownership. But one woman is fighting for women’s rights to buy, own and cultivate land through her organization, Tressor Women Warriors. The ±«Óătv’s Ruth Mulandi tells us her story.
