There is a huge gender disparity in STEM programs but in Africa, the gap is glaring. A study by UNESCO established that 80% of the women surveyed faced challenges in the workplace that men did not. Another 63% had to constantly prove themselves. Gender gaps in education pathways persist, limiting access, preparation, and career opportunities.
