Celebrating Independent Venue Week

Unsigned, undiscovered and under-the-radar music with Andrew Marston.

• Bouncing back after a global pandemic: We'll find out how schools are helping to fuel the economic recovery of Britain through music. We'll be hearing from the Director of Music at Shrewsbury School.

• In our Musicians' Masterclass we ask: "Where are all the women?" and investigate what's being done, in the record industry, to address the inequality.

• Meeting a 16-year-old musician, from Church Stretton, who - as a kid - had his music orchestrated and performed by the Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra at Birmingham Town Hall.

• You could count the number of people attending his shows on two hands - then he played Boardmasters, after landing a slot on the ±«Óãtv Radio 1 playlist! George Moir plays live on the show, as we celebrate Independent Venue Week.
