India shares her story - as new research for the ±«Óătv highlights the mental health anguish that thousands of people living with obesity feel everyday.

This is a story that affects many thousands of people across the UK. It’s about obesity - and specifically about the mental health impact of living with the shame and stigma that it can bring. This comes as a survey by Ipsos Mori for the ±«Óătv found that those who are severely overweight have the poorest mental health and feel embarrassment and despair when they look in the mirror.
