South London MC Pinty doesn’t just have the perfect name to accompany a summer of pub gardens and BBQ’s, but he’s also got the soundtrack covered with his jazz inflected house beats. Marrying The Streets’ signature wit with King Krule’s woozy grooves, the Peckham native has crafted a distinctive soundscape that embodies everything the South London music scene has to offer.

Bursting onto the scene in 2015 with his self-released mixtape 'Midnight Moods' and a notable Boiler Room performance, Pinty signed to DJ Bradley Zero’s Rhythm Section label and released his debut EP 'City Limits' in 2019. Produced by Archy Marshall - aka King Krule - under his DJJDSPORTS moniker, lead single ‘Tropical Bleu’ was an ode to the soulful dance grooves of the nineties and early noughties that inspired him.

Building on this early success, his upcoming EP 'Tomorrow’s Where I’m At' provides the same sharp wordplay, smooth melodies and punchy house beats we have come to love, but with an added depth on tracks like ‘Found It’ and ‘Comfort Me’ featuring Trumpeter Emma-Jean Thackery. With support from the likes of ±«Óãtv Radio 1, ±«Óãtv Music Introducing and other notable taste-makers like NME, Pitchfork and Mixmag, this project confirms the South Londoner as one of the most exciting new voices coming through the city’s jazz and club scenes.
