Hailing from Croydon, Sabiyha is a British-Guyanese artist making compelling pop/R&B music. Showing off tender vocals, entrancing melodies and infectious beats with each new release, Sabiyha has proved herself to be a fierce rising talent.

Growing up, Sabiyha was exposed to a melting pot of sounds that can be heard scattered across her soundscape. From the old school hip-hop and country music her father indulged in, to the lovers rock and reggae that tapped into her Guyanese heritage, Sabiyha's musical education was broad.

As a child, she wrote poetry and made up melodies, but without an instrument to accompany them, she wasn't able to translate it to into music. It was during her teenage years that she decided to pick up a guitar, allowing her to craft the words into songs. The result is a sound as captivating in it's mature lyricism as it is in the unique, punchy beats.

With each new upload, Sabiyha has proved herself to be a formidable and unique talent. Her latest single 'Undone' is more pop leaning than previous release 'Lullaby', which celebrates her Guyanese heritage with dynamic percussion and chiming melodies. Much like the overarching sense of empowerment present in all of her songs, it is a celebration of sexual freedom, something that is typically discouraged within her culture. With such a powerful voice and strong sense of self, it's difficult not to fall in love with Sabiyha's mesmerising music.
