Lead poisoning: how does it affect the body?

The World Health Organisation has identified lead as 1 of 10 chemicals of major public health concern, causing at least 1 million deaths a year. The toxic waste also causes millions of disabilities worldwide due to long term effects. But how exactly does lead affect the body? The ±«Óătv's Dayo Yusuf met with some victims of lead poisoning to find out.
