Tours Cut Short: Mahalia

During the nationwide lockdown imposed due to Covid-19, many of us will be missing out on holidays, football games and of course, live music.

Bands all over the country have had to postpone gigs and even entire tours.

So how does a band or a musician manage going from being on the road to finding themselves stuck at home?

Jack Rafferty has been speaking to some of our favourite musicians to see how self-isolation has been going, how they stay connected with the fans and just what has got them through the boredom.

2019 was a huge year for Leicester's own Mahalia, as she toured the world and even earned herself a Brit Award nomination.

Whilst she may not be gigging right now, fans have been treated to a YouTube documentary about her rise to stardom, which she told Jack all about.
