How profitable is taxi hailing for drivers?
Ride-hailing business in Africa took off 6 years ago with Uber claiming the biggest market share. It boasts 75 million users and 3 million drivers globally.
Its biggest rival, Bolt, formerly Taxify, also claims over 15 million users and 500,000 drivers worldwide.
In 2018 alone, Uber, for instance, made a full-year revenue of $11.3bn
