Why does going fast excite us so much?

The lurch of an accelerating roller coaster triggers a range of emotions and changes in the body. Professor Brendan Walker, from Middlesex University, self-confessed 'thrill engineer' who specialises in roller coaster rides, and why we find speed so thrilling.
