On the island of Mahe, Jean-Paul Geffroy, Stella Gouffay, Alfred Fourcroy, Rosemarie Emond and Julian Dufranse are part of a community of farmers, businesspeople, and engineers using traditional farming techniques, advanced innovations and hydroponic technology to attempt to lower this percentage and help the islands become more food secure.
