An Uplifting Desert Island Disco

Matt Saxton from Somerset

Matt Saxton has loved music since he was a child and starting buying music from a young age. His first 12” was Frankie Goes To Hollywood – Welcome to the Pleasuredome. Growing up in Coventry he started going to gigs, his first being Primal Scream in 1990, then moving more into the rave scene. After his first trip to Ibiza in 1992, he fell in love with the Island and its club culture. Moving to Manchester, his love of rave continued as he went to clubs such as the Haçienda, The Boardwalk, Jabez Clegg and others. He shares his Desert Island Disco tracks which relate to those dancing days.
