Yemen and the Saudi blockade

Yemen is facing a great humanitarian crisis - one made worse by the Saudi Arabia blockade

The people of Yemen are facing a great humanitarian crisis.

Vast numbers are sick and starving - and that's largely because of a blockade that's been imposed by Saudi Arabia in its attempt to stop rebels supported by Iran from taking over the country.

In this podcast we hear from Dr Najwa al-Dheeb of UNICEF, who's in the capital Sanaa. She lives there with her young family and kept this audio diary for us.

Our security correspondent Frank Gardner and international politics professor Rosemary Hollis give us their take on the situation.
