‘The most significant Premier League TV rights in history’

The Premier League vote on Wednesday to decide how revenue is distributed between clubs is the "most significant" since the league's creation, says football journalist Jason Burt.

Burt, chief football writer for the Telegraph, says Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham will argue they deserve a bigger cut than the rest of the 14 teams because they have a bigger global fan base.

He says the Premier League's “integrity” is at stake, and maintains that, if the big six are successful in the vote, their influence over how the league is run will continue to grow.
