The ±«Óãtv Proms celebrates 60 years of the legendary soul record label, Stax Records, founded in Memphis in 1957. The musicians and staff of the label all described it as being a 'family'.
Hammond organist Booker T. Jones and guitarist Steve Cropper, alongside Deanie Parker - musician, the second Stax employee and CEO of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music - tell the story of the label (with a little help from Sir Tom Jones)
