A Wiltshire farmer is urging poultry keepers to help prevent the spread of bird flu.

Matthew Macdonald from Kingswood near Box was concerned for the welfare of his free-range chickens if they had to be kept inside.

A Prevention Zone was declared across the country in December and is now in force until the end of February.

Matthew has now introduced special measures so that his flock can still stretch their legs outside.
