Police try to trace hit-and-run driver

A man has died after being hit by a vehicle in Bungay in the early hours of Friday, in which the driver failed to stop.

He's been named as Shane Lay, 42, from Broome, who was walking his dog at the time. His dog was uninjured.

Police believe the vehicle involved was a light-coloured silver Nissan Qashqai.

They're appealing for the occupants of the vehicle to come forward.
