Bernardo Bertolucci's new film, The Last Emperor. The film is based on the final emperor of China, and is the first film to be made in the People's Republic. Also featured is the German artist Joseph Beuys and Benjamin Britten's opera Billy Bud. Presenter: Nick Rankin.
