A look at anti-sense medicine, which cancels out the effect of harmful genes. By taking a mirror image of the gene you want to target scientists are hoping that they can form a duplex that will stop the gene being replicated as a protein, an effect which could help prevent diseases including cancer. Also in the programme, getting close to plants in a search for answers and a look at what may happen at the end of time.
