Essex director Caroline Bartleet, from Great Tey near Colchester, wins Bafta award for best short film for 'Operator'.
The film is based on a real 999 call from a desperate young mother, whose three-year-old son is trapped in a fire.
Ms Bartleet said she could not believe she picked up the award, calling it "an amazing moment".
