Soldier: 'I could see all my intestines'
Private Davey Graham says he "didn't realise he'd been shot" after taking five bullets to his abdomen during a Taliban ambush.
Graham was serving in Afghanistan's notorious Green Zone when he was shot with a PKM machine gun in August 2007.
"Where my T-shirt was it felt quite damp and quite warm. I just pulled my T-shirt up and that's when I could see all my intestines" said Graham.
"One of the bullet wounds had gone in that deep it had pushed my intestines out, [that's when] I realised I'd been shot in the stomach", he said.
