Domestic violence support and surviving cancer

Support available for victims of domestic abuse; and, following the news that “one in two people in the UK will probably develop cancer” Jim hears your survival stories.

Can pregnancy be a trigger point for domestic abuse? Jan Francis, Chief Executive of West Mercia's Women's Aid, tells Jim that it can. They have recently funded a domestic violence project based in Shropshire's hospitals in order to "be where the victims are".

One in two people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives, Cancer Research UK says, but the good news is cancer survival figures are also rising. Jim hears your survival stories.
