There is music from four jazz musicians who were born around this weekend: pianist Cyrus Chestnut and Cedar Walton, drummer Gene Krupa and saxophomisty Spike Robinson. There's also music from Chris Barber recorded in Birmingham in 1978 plus a newish CD from the Brian White band featuring Ben Cohen. Tubby Hayes leads a big band with two parts of a suite he wrote and recorded.
