The Rime of the Modern Day Mariner
Cape Town is the setting for the start of the second leg of the world’s premier ocean race. So what is it like to be on the open seas for so long? We asked Dee Caffari, the only woman to circumnavigate the world in both directions, about life on board of the only all-women team in the Volvo ocean race, Team SCA. With a little help from the Samuel Taylor Coleridge poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
