Shared Memories: Lesley and Ruth
When do you tell the kids their dad is dying? Lesley feels guilty choosing to keep her daughters ignorant of her husbands terminal cancer. Pete wouldn't have wanted it any other way, and it was only toward the end of his life that they realised dad wasn't going to recover. But Ruth assures mum that none of them felt cheated by her decision, and what they treasure are the special memories of the times they all spent together.
