A decision to grant outline approval for up to 470 homes on the site of the former Sugar Beet Factory at Allscott has been called a "whitewash" by objectors. Around 100 people turned up at Telford and Wrekin Council's planning committee last night. After hearing arguments for and against the new village, councillors voted to back it. Eric and Clare hear local reactions. Also the St John Ambulance are urging parents to learn first aid during the summer holiday incase their children get in the odd scrape !
