Donald Macleod and Jeremy Summerly explore Victoria's early years as a chorister at Avila Cathedral. Later in they programme they examine his rich and varied career in Rome spanning 20 years. Finally they focus on Victoria's last work - a requiem dedicated to the memory of the Dowager Empress Maria at the Convento de las Descalzas Reales in Madrid.
