Where did the Vikings go to when they left Lindisfarne?
When the Vikings left Lindisfarne they returned to the Scandinavian countries of Denmark, Sweden and Norway. These are rocky and mountainous lands where the winters are cruelly cold. The landscape was harsh and tough, but so too were the early Vikings.
