Jenny and her fellow nurses escape the east end for a jaunt to the country.

Jenny (Jessica Raine), Trixie (Helen George), and Cynthia (Bryony Hannah) accompany Jimmy (George Rainsford) and a group of his friends on a daytrip to a country house, whilst Chummy (Miranda Hart) holds down the fort at Nonnatus House and practices meeting PC Noakes' parents. At the country house the gang take advantage of the swimming pool and Jimmy gets close with Jenny.
