The village of Aspalsar in rural Rajasthan gathers round to hear pensioner Saif Mohammed play his tandura, accomapnied by other local musicians, including another old man on the chimta, an almost extinct clapping metal instrument. Here we really get a sense of the pace of life int he village, the interweavng of music, animals, children, all under the baking sun, and the appreciative eye of John Singh of JVF - the foundation which supports these traditional musicians, in this case giving Saif a pension so that he can live out his old age with dignity - and much laughter.
