Flybe pulls out of Manston, Ramsgate live exports and London Olympics funding for sport

Dom hears how Flybe is ending its flights from Manston airport to Edinburgh from the end of March 2012. Also, Dom talks to our Olympics reporter about more funding to improve Kent sports facilities.

Dominic King hears Niall Duffy from Flybe about why the airline is ending its flights from Manston, Kent's International airport, to Edinburgh from the end of March 2012.

Dom has a report on campaigners against live animal exports who are currently focusing their attention on the port of Ramsgate. If they can gather 1m signatures on a petition before the end of January they can force the European Commission to consider new legislation. They currently have over 900,000 signatures.

Also, Dom talks to our Olympics reporter about more National Lottery funding to improve Kent sports facilities. Sport England is giving over £400,000 to leave a lasting local impact from London 2012.
