Hackett and Condon to Hamilton and Moss

A selection of the best in jazz music.

A wide range of superb jazz which ranges from Bobby Hackett and Eddie Condon in 1944 to Scott Hamilton and Danny Moss recorded just four years ago. Also there's Artie Shaw featured with a small group and recordings which, is well documented, pleased Mr Shaw greatly. Included in the wide range there are also a couple of outings for Zoot Sims, one for Harry Gold who came to the Upton Jazz Festival during the eighties but plays here, recorded on a visit to East Germany in 1984. There's a sample of a jazz party from 1971 and, right up todate, a smaple of the Ed Puddick big band with music from Guys and Dolls.
