The marine life off Skomer is world class. Beneath the waves, lies a special reserve in its own right - full of beauty. Skomer is bathed by the Gulf Stream current, stimulating fantastic growth amongst the living corals, sea fans and sea slugs which are normally found in much warmer water. This is Wales' only marine nature reserve and has a dedicated team studying the unique wildlife here.
