Georgie Fame opts for South

A selection of the best in jazz music.

Georgie Fame sings with the Harry South Big Band, something that was asked for by a listener in Ontario. Meanwhile, ther same Harry South plays piano at a gig where Jimmy Witherspoon reflects on the tough times getting even tougher! That was 1966 so nothing changes. John Graas plays his french horn with some eminent musicians and a tune from the twenties. Fats Waller plays a pipe organ while Adelaide Hall sings during a visit to London in the late thirties. Acker Bilk and Danny Moss get rid of any musical divide and play together as part of a quintet.
