Traditionally the biggest vote winners in the Republic's elections are Fianna F谩il and Fine Gael but the smaller parties have played important roles in coalition governments. In the wake of the economic crisis, the balance of power is expected to change again and one of the key contests is between Sinn Fein and Labour for working class votes.
