Described by fellow MC Devlin as 鈥渢he metaphor man鈥�, Wretch 32 has grafted tirelessly on the UK underground scene for many years, collaborating with the likes of Chipmunk, Wiley and Sway and forming The Movement with artists including Ghetts and Devlin. With his unique blend of grime and hip hop, the 25-year-old has dropped several mixtapes and albums, including 鈥淭eacher鈥檚 Training Day鈥� and 鈥淲retchrospective鈥�. Hailing from Tottenham, London, the newly signed Wretch is ready to release his first major label single 鈥淭raktor鈥� on Ministry of Sound/Levels Recordings, signifying a giant splash into the mainstream. 1Xtra has been instrumental in Wretch鈥檚 journey - he was initially spotted by DJ Cameo, became the recipient of the 1Xtra Most Street Heat mixtape award in 2006 and was first playlisted by the station in 2007.
