Sandie Shaw

Roger plays the sounds of your life, and talks to those who made them.

Sandie Shaw was one of the most successful British singers of the 1960's and she's appearing live at Goodwood's Vintage Festival with a unique project. Sandie joins Roger tonight to talk about how she will 'Reclaim The Song' from male singers by having a wealth of female artists from Sophie Ellis-Bextor to Mica Paris join her onstage to give them a new emphasis. The Classic Album this week is "Tea For The Tillerman" by Cat Stevens, plus Grant James joins us for an hour of the best in Big Band and Swing.
