Joey wins 1980 Isle of Man TT holding a loose petrol tank with his knees
Archive footage of the lineup and race for the 1980 TT. The factory teams were planning on stopping twice on the race but Joey wanted to stop only once. He had fitted his bike with a bigger homemade tank. But the straps securing the tank broke. Joey rode on holding the tank in place between his knees.
