Mating calls

After a year long pregnancy, female humpback whales come to the reef to give birth and suckle their newly born young. Males are also at the reefs, but they are here to find a mate, and are singing to advertise their seniority. The louder and longer the song, the bigger and stronger the male that is singing... and the more mating opportunities that he will get.
