September in the English countryside and a stoat is on the hunt. Rabbits are 10 times the size of a stoat, so it's way too dangerous to rush straight in. Instead the stoat has to wear the rabbit down. The chase begins and the rabbit very quickly begins to flag. The stoat's stamina becomes apparent, but stamina alone won't bring success. Once he catches up with the bulky rabbit, he still has to overpower it. When he comes within reach of his quarry, he brings the exhausted rabbit down, winding himself around the rabbit's body until he's able to deliver a fatal bite to the back of the neck. The incredible agility of the stoat, practised since it was a kit, has been just enough to swing the balance.
